Lilyfest
One of the top Hocking Hills events that continues year after year over here is Lilyfest. This annual event is located in Rockbridge just up the road and is an immersion into gardens, plates, art, and music. As the name suggests Lilyfest has a highlight on the Lily flower, one of the most beautiful flowers around. This three-day event will bring in over 60 different craftpersons and artists who will offer works of art for sale that can include garden art, jewelry, sculptures, pottery, glasswork, and so much more. The event takes place over at Bishop Educational Gardens where you will find 3 acres of beautiful gardens and ponds to explore. The master gardeners will also be on hand to answer any questions you have. You can also find live music throughout the event along with Chef Moe’s On The Go serving up delicious food to purchase. Don’t miss out on Lilyfest this year taking place July 12th through the 14th over at Bishop Educational Gardens.
Nelsonville Music Festival
The summer season goes hand in hand with live music and you will not be disappointed with the Nelsonville Music Festival. This annual event brings in 3 days of live music with some big name acts on the lineup. Nelsonville is also just up the road from Hocking Hills and our vacation rentals making it easy to get to. This year’s lineup includes Killer Mike, Courtney Barnett, Thee Sacred Souls, and many, many more. The festival will offer plenty of food and drink vendors on hand to ensure you can party the day away. This year’s Nelsonville Music Festival will take place on July 26th through the 28th over at the Public Square in Nelsonville.
Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival
It is not just a conspiracy theory when you are on the hunt for bigfoot at the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival. If you are a fan of the paranormal you must check out this annual event that brings a little fun here to Downtown Logan. This two-day event focuses on all things Bigfoot related so you can feel like an expert here in the woods. The event includes live speakers, a VIP dinner and reception, live music over at Worthington Park, and night hikes. The guides will show you the area and give you a little history on bigfoot and its presence here in the Ohio forests. There is literally no other event quite like it. Come check out the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival taking place August 2nd and 3rd here in Logan.
Hocking Hills Trail Run
Are you an outdoor adventurer who loves to trail run in the woods and be surrounded by nature? If so, the Hocking Hills Trail Run may be the perfect fit for you. This annual event takes you through Hocking Hills State Park for an exciting race that can be taken on in a variety of lengths. The Hocking Hills Trail Run includes a 60K run for the experienced trail runners. Additional race lengths also include 40K, 20K, 10K, and 5K to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the event. Many of the races feature individual start times so you can begin the race at any point during a certain period. Awards will be handed out for the top racers in a variety of age and gender categories. Don’t miss out on the Hocking Hills Trail Run taking place on September 24th.
Hocking Hills Craft Show
Get ready for the return of the largest craft show here in Hocking Hills with the 2024 Hocking Hills Craft Show. This annual event brings together an amazing time complete with local vendors, live music, arts and crafts, and much more.
