Description
Hickory House is a professionally decorated cabin on 30 private acres. Its the perfect location for an 11 person group and is pet friendly! There is an onsite small pond and onsite hiking. There are 3 levels of living space, including a bonus saloon room in the lower level. Its located just a few miles from shopping, restaurants, and other city attractions! It’s the perfect stand-alone vacation home or can be rented with Stone Settler to accommodate up to 19 guests!

Fully stocked kitchen with plates/cups/bowls, glasses, silverware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, large and small (toaster, blender, mixer, drip coffee maker) appliances, and pots and pans. Starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent (if applicable), dish tabs (if applicable), and trash bags Linens and towels- Fully made beds with sheets, and comforters, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sponges for dishes, spare blankets (amount varies by property).
Common items to bring for your stay:
- Clothing and personal bath toiletries.
- Food and food related items- spices, coffee/flat bottom coffee filters, specific/unique small appliances (rice cooker, slow cooker, etc.)
- Firewood/Fire starting materials
- Beach towels for hot tub/pool (if applicable)
- Specific/preferred bedding and bedding for the pull-out beds and/or futons
Check In/Check Out Times
Check In is at 4 pm and Check Out is at 11/10 am depending on your property. (early check in/late check out can be added to your reservation for a fee, schedule permitting)

Damage Protection Coverage
Our Damage Protection program covers up to 10xs the fee that is charged. For example: if the damage protection fee is $30, then there will be $300 in coverage. Cabins and Lodges is responsible for filing all program claims on behalf of the tenants and the tenant will be notified in writing of any such claim. Tenant verification may be required in certain cases. Tenant will be responsible for the cost of repair of all damages that exceeds the coverage Limit of the Property Protection Program. The amount you pay for the Property Protection Program includes any related insurance, technology-support, service, and claims adjudication costs, along with administrative fees charged by the Cabins and Lodges for making this coverage available. This program does not cover intentional damage, those damages resulting from the negligence of tenant, or damages from non-compliance with the terms of this agreement. Determination of actual damages will be at the sole discretion of Cabins and Lodges and the program underwriter..

Great Weekend Getaway!!
As our first family vacation in years, we had a great time! Lots of things to do within 30 minutes of the cabin and the location itself is fairly secluded, which was great! The cabin was very clean and there were plenty of supplies. Lots of fish in the pond as well! The only downside was the wifi, it really did not work at all. But as long as you aren't relying on that and truly want a cabin experience, this is a great place to stay!! -

Cozy getaway
Hello we had a big group that went between family and friends and let me just say that overall experience was amazing. Location was perfect; remote and peaceful for us to hangout and let loose. Not far from grocery chains or the trails for hiking, which was a plus! Property was very clean, organized, and the hot tub was a huge win for us. Awesome experience and hickory house was amazing. -
The hot tub and location is really nice! The loft upstairs is really nice too.

Nice cabin. Very relaxing, lots of space in and outside. Surrounded by trees, would like to return in the fall. Had an inside issue- management responded quickly! Would recommend to anyone wanting some R and R… -

The listing was very accurate! Easy to get find. 4-wheel drive helps make it up the driveway, but still do-able. Very clean and plenty of space! Very secluded. The hot tub was a very nice amenity. Not too far from hocking hills hiking trails. I highly recommend and plan on staying here again! -

Awesome Area!
This area is awesome and we had a blast! I did give 5 stars but wanted to include a couple of FYI's for future bookings. Cell phone service is on and off in the entire area. The cabin does have internet which was helpful for online communication. We did not have cell service at the cabin. The area also has steep incline roads so make sure you have 4WD or have the driving skills. -

Everything was great! Beautiful home, stocked well, amazing property. Nothing negative to report- everything was clean and ready for us! The staff was very friendly and helpful when I needed to arrange a different time to arrive at the cabin. Very satisfied.

Was a terrific value for the time of year and number of guests I had. Really enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and playing cards and scrabble in the common area. The inside was clean and looked fresh and new, in good repair. Didn't smell like other dogs or like firewood. Smelled clean and looked great! I am a disabled veteran and sometimes have issues with staying in hotels with my PTSD service dog. Not with Buffalo lodging! What a fantastic experience. Thank you!
