Timber View has had a major facelift, with new features including a stunning great room with floor to ceiling fireplace, all new flooring, new decor and bedding, custom-built furniture, new granite counters, in ground pool (not heated)…and more! The lodge is located close to Cantwell Cliffs and within walking distance from Creek, Falls and Meadows so it works well as a stand alone Hocking Hills, Ohio cabin rental or as part of a multi-lodge rental.

Fully stocked kitchen with plates/cups/bowls, glasses, silverware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, large and small (toaster, blender, mixer, drip coffee maker) appliances, and pots and pans. Starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent (if applicable), dish tabs (if applicable), and trash bags Linens and towels- Fully made beds with sheets, and comforters, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sponges for dishes, spare blankets (amount varies by property).
Common items to bring for your stay:
- Clothing and personal bath toiletries.
- Food and food related items- spices, coffee/flat bottom coffee filters, specific/unique small appliances (rice cooker, slow cooker, etc.)
- Firewood/Fire starting materials
- Beach towels for hot tub/pool (if applicable)
- Specific/preferred bedding and bedding for the pull-out beds and/or futons
Check In/Check Out Times
Check In is at 4 pm and Check Out is at 11/10 am depending on your property. (early check in/late check out can be added to your reservation for a fee, schedule permitting)

Damage Protection Coverage
Our Damage Protection program covers up to 10xs the fee that is charged. For example: if the damage protection fee is $30, then there will be $300 in coverage. Cabins and Lodges is responsible for filing all program claims on behalf of the tenants and the tenant will be notified in writing of any such claim. Tenant verification may be required in certain cases. Tenant will be responsible for the cost of repair of all damages that exceeds the coverage Limit of the Property Protection Program. The amount you pay for the Property Protection Program includes any related insurance, technology-support, service, and claims adjudication costs, along with administrative fees charged by the Cabins and Lodges for making this coverage available. This program does not cover intentional damage, those damages resulting from the negligence of tenant, or damages from non-compliance with the terms of this agreement. Determination of actual damages will be at the sole discretion of Cabins and Lodges and the program underwriter..

Great place to host a large group. Absolutely gorgeous cabin. We loved every detail. Our grandsond enjoyed the pool table. We all loved the wood burning fireplace, fire pit and hot tub. Beds were comfortable. I would definitely go back! -
A perfect weekend!
The location and house was perfect to celebrate Christmas with our family. We enjoyed all that it offered…large gathering space with a pool table, hot tub and fire pit. We will definitely stay here again! -

We had a great weekend getaway with friends and dogs! Cabin was spacious and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were huge hits. Location is secluded but not too far away from any attractions such as the park or stores. -

GREAT STAY
Our family and our pets had an amazing time. Plenty of space. Very clean! The property is within driving distance of all of the hiking spots. We will stay here again! -
Long weekend with our adult children and grands
This is the second time we stayed at this location. Very close to cantwell cliffs. Quiet and private with a small pool attached to the house w cement surround for convenience, hot tub outdoors and pool table indoors. Only recommendation is that it should have some additional couch type seating in the room with the pool table, for those who are watching the pool sharks in action. -
Family Weekend
Wonderful property. We had 10 people and were very comfortable. The location was spectacular especially considering the peak fall colors! The house was clean and very well maintained. I would definitely recommend if you have a large group. -

The cabin is nice and spacious. Beautiful views from the patio. The only reason the review is not a 5 is that there were a few minor issues that needed addressed when we first arrived, but the owner was very quick to respond. I would rent this cabin again. -

Relaxed and secluded yet close to shops if we needed something!
What a wonderful cabin! We take a trip with our kids, their significant others and grandbaby for our Thanksgiving celebration. We take the time to turn off the devices and enjoy nature and each other's company. The visits by the deer in the morning were the icing on the cake. We brought one of our family dogs and it was set up perfectly with the fenced in yard and gated deck. The internet wasn't working because of an issue with the carrier, but we really didn't care. We had a little trouble with the hot tub but the repairman was quick to arrive and got us relaxing soon after dinner. Thank you for providing a great place for our family to regroup and reconnect. -
Wonderful Pre-Christmas Get-a-way
We (4 parents, 4 young adults) spent two days and two nights before Christmas in this lovely cabin. We had a wonderful weekend there. The cabin is very pretty inside and out. We were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the construction and furnishings. The kitchen is very pretty and well equipped, although we did bring a few of our own pans and utensils just in case. Everything was very clean! It didn't feel like a rental -- it felt like a real home. We took advantage of the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit. The owners put up a Christmas tree, so it was especially nice to sit on the comfy leather couches talking and laughing with our friends and kids. Unlike many of the other rentals in Hocking Hills, this one does not have a fireplace. It would have been nice to have a fire place, but even without one, this place provides a lovely, cozy weekend getaway! -

The carpets had just been cleaned. Even though it is a pet-friendly cabin, it smelled good inside and we saw no signs of pet damage. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when we checked in. This is a beautiful and spacious cabin with easy access to all of Hocking Hills' scenic beauty. While only three of us spent nights at the cabin - we had lots of holiday visitors and the cabin accommodated all very comfortably. Cantwell Cliffs was less than a half mile away and Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, etc. were less than a 15 minute drive - as was shopping in Logan. Athens is about 40 minutes away - and worth the drive to visit Jackie O's brewpub and taproom, Casa Nueva and more.

The open floor plan and there was plenty of room to spread out, but still be with our group, was just perfect for us! The property was very clean and in good repair. The staff answered all of my questions regarding my booking and the process was easy.
