Chief Logan Lodge is a Hocking Hills luxury rental that sits high elevation, surrounded by lush forest. It is the perfect space for up to 16 guests and 3 pets! There are expansive wrap-around decks, a great lower level entertainment area- complete with a private sauna, and 5 bedrooms/3.5 baths for guest accommodations. It is located near Rock House. Within walking distance, although still privately-situated from Little Chief Cabin.

Fully stocked kitchen with plates/cups/bowls, glasses, silverware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, large and small (toaster, blender, mixer, drip coffee maker) appliances, and pots and pans. Starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent (if applicable), dish tabs (if applicable), and trash bags Linens and towels- Fully made beds with sheets, and comforters, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sponges for dishes, spare blankets (amount varies by property).
Common items to bring for your stay:
- Clothing and personal bath toiletries.
- Food and food related items- spices, coffee/flat bottom coffee filters, specific/unique small appliances (rice cooker, slow cooker, etc.)
- Firewood/Fire starting materials
- Beach towels for hot tub/pool (if applicable)
- Specific/preferred bedding and bedding for the pull-out beds and/or futons
Check In/Check Out Times
Check In is at 4 pm and Check Out is at 11/10 am depending on your property. (early check in/late check out can be added to your reservation for a fee, schedule permitting)

Damage Protection Coverage
Our Damage Protection program covers up to 10xs the fee that is charged. For example: if the damage protection fee is $30, then there will be $300 in coverage. Cabins and Lodges is responsible for filing all program claims on behalf of the tenants and the tenant will be notified in writing of any such claim. Tenant verification may be required in certain cases. Tenant will be responsible for the cost of repair of all damages that exceeds the coverage Limit of the Property Protection Program. The amount you pay for the Property Protection Program includes any related insurance, technology-support, service, and claims adjudication costs, along with administrative fees charged by the Cabins and Lodges for making this coverage available. This program does not cover intentional damage, those damages resulting from the negligence of tenant, or damages from non-compliance with the terms of this agreement. Determination of actual damages will be at the sole discretion of Cabins and Lodges and the program underwriter..

Family vacation
We had 10 adults and 1 teenager ranging in age from 13-70. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed including a propane line connected directly to the gas grill which we were not aware of until we arrived. The only concern we had were the narrow steep steps from the parking area to the deck/entry. A bit challenging with luggage and groceries, but we really enjoyed our stay and I would totally recommend this property as it was convenient for our activities of candle making, hiking, horseback riding and driving to Logan and Laurelville. ☺️ -
Great place. Plenty of room, parking, beds. Place was super clean and updated. Lay out is good. Fire pit was nice and functional. Went with 10 people and place was fine.

The property was as amazing as advertised! The location was perfect whether you wanted to hang out at Logan Logan, kayak, hike in Hocking Hills, or just relax and play games in the cabin. The o it minor complaint was inconsistent Wi-Fi, otherwise it was a dream! -

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful experience. There were plenty of amenities available to accommodate all of our needs and the property was very clean. We had a great time hanging out in front of the wood fireplace and enjoying the pool table, sauna and hot tub. Great stay! -

Really nice spacious, clean cabin! 6 friends went for the weekend. Plenty of beds, seating and space. Nice property, wooded and private. Easy to find and really close to hiking trails! Enjoyed our stay. -

We loved this cabin
We have been making a trip to the hocking hills area for our family Christmas get together for several years. This is our favorite cabin so far. We introduced three more teenagers to the wonder that is Ash Cave and they loved it. Fans for life I think. Chief Logan Lodge had everything we needed for an enjoyable family weekend. The hot tub was nice, beds were comfy, bathrooms and showers were nice. We liked that several of the bedrooms had access to the deck. Parking areas had room enough for our vehicles. We were happy to include our furry family members, thanks for allowing them. -

Good family gathering location
We were a group of 11 adults and 2 young children. We enjoyed having bedrooms on different levels to allow to young children nap times/early bedtime. Common areas/kitchen slightly on the smaller side for the amount of people the cabin can sleep, but surprised that it was not a big deal. Additionally, other reviews mentioned well water taste, but water tasted completely normal. Do note that water pressure/amount of hot water is severely limited at times and especially in the basement bathroom. Rooms/beds are a mixture of sizes and firmness, might consider that when first choosing rooms. Deck space was lovely, we had warm weather during our Christmas stay and it was nice to hang out on the deck some, which would be a huge draw in summer/fall as well. -

Buffalo Lodging Company was great. The beds in the Chief Logan Lodge had soft foam mattresses which were uncomfortable for some in our group. -

Anytime we had questions and called, they were answered promptly. Easy process to book and to obtain check in information. The only problem we had was the basement bathroom leaked but was addressed with management to check into it. -
Clean and roomy
This property was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone in our family (13). There were two nice TV's with dish so there were plenty of options for the evening and the kids enjoyed playing on the pool table in the basement. -
Great family getaway spot
The cabin was a great for a large multigenerational group. Comfortable and spacious with all the basic amenities you need. We had a few small issues during our stay and the host was responsive to addressing them. -

Cabin had great amenities and was in a great location. It looked great and had tons of space. Overall, we had a very good time there. Cabin looked good when we arrived! I spoke with the booking staff a number of times leading up to the reservation and they were very accommodating and helpful.
