Hideaway Cabin is on 7+ private acres! The secluded location and brand new furnishings make Hideaway Cabin the perfect choice for your next Hocking Hills vacation! It is on the same road as Secluded Cabin, Tranquility Ridge, Water’s Edge, Coal Mine Ridge and Sterling Lodge so it works well as a stand alone unit, or as part of a large group rental.

Items included in your rental
Fully stocked kitchen with plates/cups/bowls, glasses, silverware, cookware, bakeware, utensils, large and small (toaster, blender, mixer, drip coffee maker) appliances, and pots and pans. Starter supply of hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, detergent (if applicable), dish tabs (if applicable), and trash bags Linens and towels- Fully made beds with sheets, and comforters, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, sponges for dishes, spare blankets (amount varies by property).
Common items to bring for your stay:
- Clothing and personal bath toiletries.
- Food and food related items- spices, coffee/flat bottom coffee filters, specific/unique small appliances (rice cooker, slow cooker, etc.)
- Firewood/Fire starting materials
- Beach towels for hot tub/pool (if applicable)
- Specific/preferred bedding and bedding for the pull-out beds and/or futons
Check In/Check Out Times
Check In is at 4 pm and Check Out is at 11/10 am depending on your property. (early check in/late check out can be added to your reservation for a fee, schedule permitting)

Damage Protection Coverage
Our Damage Protection program covers up to 10xs the fee that is charged. For example: if the damage protection fee is $30, then there will be $300 in coverage. Cabins and Lodges is responsible for filing all program claims on behalf of the tenants and the tenant will be notified in writing of any such claim. Tenant verification may be required in certain cases. Tenant will be responsible for the cost of repair of all damages that exceeds the coverage Limit of the Property Protection Program. The amount you pay for the Property Protection Program includes any related insurance, technology-support, service, and claims adjudication costs, along with administrative fees charged by the Cabins and Lodges for making this coverage available. This program does not cover intentional damage, those damages resulting from the negligence of tenant, or damages from non-compliance with the terms of this agreement. Determination of actual damages will be at the sole discretion of Cabins and Lodges and the program underwriter..

Hideaway cabin
We had a great experience at Hideaway Cabin! The place was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. We brought our dog and she loved the private drive and being able to explore in the woods. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable! I would definitely stay here again. -
Loved how tucked away it is. Felt very private and was able to reach other retailers within 30 mins. Had a great time!

Fabulous Fall Break
Cabin was just what we were looking for - had more than enough space for everyone plus our dog. Great location for our hiking adventures. Everything we needed to enjoy relaxing family time in the evenings and coffee on the porch in the mornings. FABULOUS trip! -

Perfect Getaway
We throughly enjoyed our stay! It was perfect for our 2 year old (even some plates and cups for him!) and our 2 dogs. It was a good distance away from other people and about 15 minutes away from trails. We will be staying here again!! -
Great Girls Trip
We are high school besties that do a getaway once a year. The cabin was spotless and well equipped! There were places for all of us to sleep. The hot tub was great! While there are benches around the fire pit, we older ladies did wish that we had bring bag chairs. So that's my only tip to anyone who needs a chair with a back to sit around the fire, bring a bag chair. Great location; easy to find and the hosts were great communicators -
Secluded and quiet!
Met all expectations of stay. House was clean and well kept. Would stay here again. Nestled in a large woods with no one in sight. Loved that part of it. Good communication with property manager via emails. -

Perfect spot for Hocking Hills
We were looking for a cozy place that was close to the hiking at Hocking Hills State Park, and this place was perfect. Had pretty much everything we needed! We really enjoyed our stay! -
Quiet Seclusion Near Hocking Hills
This property is very private and peaceful with nature all around. The cabin itself is very clean and updated. There is minimal cellular reception in the area, but the WiFi works well for phone usage and streaming. The hot tub under the covered deck is the perfect way to unwind after a long day of hiking in the multiple state parks in the area. Highly recommended! -
Better than the listing!
Best place we have stayed in Hocking Hills. Reasonably priced, quiet location close to trails, super clean, pet friendly, perfectly sized. This is one of the few places I have stayed where the actual property was better than the listing. Really can't beat the comfy family room with plenty of room to watch movies, the hot tub on the large deck for coffee in the morning and wine from Hocking Hills Winery at night, and the sweet upstairs loft. Two bathrooms and laundry were also a big plus. Perfect and we will definitely make this our regular accomodation in the area. -

Amazing getaway
Great girls weekend for me and my sister. Cabin very clean and cozy. Close to Hockinghills State Park. Comfortable couches and awesome beds. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Be sure to write down or screen shot directions to wherever you are going. Wifi in cabin worked perfectly. Google maps in some of the surrounding area not so much some of the time. Not a big deal for us as we had them saved. You are also not very close to grocery stores or restaurants (20 min or so) so plan accordingly. We found the isolation of the cabin extremely peaceful and relaxing. -
The perfect getaway spot!
This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Beautiful interior, large rooms, great size hot tub, and the most comfortable bed in the main suite - we had the most amazing time! No neighbors in sight and plenty of room to park. Looking forward to booking again! -
A wonderful mini trip!
We've been to Hocking hills 3 years in a row and this by far the best company/cabin we have stayed with. Very clean, close to everything we needed and the smart TV was great for shows. The hot tub was also very clean and we've had some gross hot tubs in the past from other listings. -

This cabin was well taken care of. Upon arrival it was very clean and the lights were on waiting for our arrival. The location was close to all the hiking trails, which were amazing! We would stay at that location again. -
It's in the Name!
The Hideaway Cabin was the perfect place for my weekend birthday trip with my friends. The cabin is so secluded, but still an easy driving distance from hiking trails, restaurants, and the sweetest coffee shops I have ever been to! The cabin was extremely clean and the hot tub was perfect to enjoy on the private porch. It truly is the perfect hideaway spot for a vacation. I can't imagine how beautiful the property would be in the fall since it is surrounded by trees. The check-in process was also extremely easy and we did not have to waste time visiting an office beforehand. The ONLY thing I wish that the cabin provided was a fire starter along with the firewood (we did not think to bring a lighter with us). The water also had a sulfur-like smell to it, but we got used to that after the first day. Overall, the cabin was fantastic and spacious enough for all of us and two dogs! I would definitely stay again and recommend. -
Great family getaway!
This is perfect spot to get away from the craziness of the city or suburban life. The scenery is beautiful and you may see wild life! The hot tub was great! My family and I loved this trip! -
Winter Getaway to Recharge
Beautiful and isolated cabin in the Hocking Hills area of Ohio. Terrific for local hiking, as it is close to many public trails and caves (including Old Man's Cave). Well equipped with everything you need, well equipped kitchen warm and comfortable beds, good internet connection. Very relaxing, whether you want an outdoors experience or just want to relax in the hot tub. -
Ringing in the New Year
We loved the location and all of the amenities! It was cozy and comfortable. The toddlers really loved the cabin. -
RELAXING
It was so nice to kick back and relax at the Hideaway. Lots of reading, games, hiking and watching football. exactly what we had hoped our getaway would be.
